About Richard Burte
I am a skilled and experienced technical product and program manager focused on building long term value through focusing on customer driven journeys and anticipating their needs. I have a history of successful long-term engagements with a variety of teams especially focused on software engineering infrastructure, developers and most recently with a variety of SaaS platforms and AI delivery.My key strength is my ability to bridge technology and people. I love digging for data and analytics to help make decisions, without being frozen when green field ideas need to be delivered.I have experience in product management, press and analyst engagement, and customer engagement. I’m also experienced in business planning and execution within field sales and corporate headquarters environments. My love of computing and technology sparked when programming a ZX-81 as a child raised in New Zealand in the early 80s. I could capture a bit of the magic of the classic arcade games I also played inside a tiny box hooked up to the TV. On the side and for fun I enjoy scratching my own itches with HTML, XML/XSLT, C#, VB, VBA, T-SQL and PowerShell. In addition, I have excellent troubleshooting skills and knowledge of TCP/IP networking and web applications.
