Engineering leader in Monitoring - we help keep Meta serving more than 3 billion users 24/7. The teams in my area prevent changes from affecting production, detect them quickly and escalate to users and allow users to retrospect, quickly investigate and mitigate issues and improve the reliability of their systems with SLOs. We build full-stack tools from the ML stack to UIs and run programs across hundreds of internal teams to ensure our products are reliable. My role is a mix of strong multi-year directional work, working with teams solving hard technical problems and occasionally getting hands-on when needed, nowadays mostly in Python and C++.
