As Principal Investigator of the Virtual Reality Cognitive Therapy y (VRCT) initiative for Alzheimer’s Disease, I lead a multidisciplinary team pioneering evidence-based digital health solutions to address cognitive impairment. Under NIH SBIR awards (R43AG076169, 3R43AG07••••01S1, LMSB-23-0010-H-FY24), we successfully completed three Phase I clinical trials demonstrating the feasibility and usability of VRCT for older adults.We are now advancing into Phase II efficacy trials to validate personalized VR-based interventions aimed at improving cognitive and functional outcomes. Our goal: to build scalable, accessible, and clinically validated virtual-reality therapies that support independent living and transform dementia care delivery.Grounded in neuroscience, digital health, and translational research, my work integrates scientific rigor with patient-centered design to enhance therapy outcomes, accessibility, and adoption. I am passionate about translating cutting-edge technologies into meaningful healthcare solutions through partnerships that span academia, healthcare, and industry.
