Perform a variety of duties including but not limited to updating schedules and budgets, maintaining cost control, monitoring labour, material and equipment- Plan and execute civil, structural, municipal, and transportation engineering projects including bridges, buildings, railways and roadworks- Ensure construction activities comply with engineering standards, codes, and project specifications- Develop, review, and implement construction specifications, drawings, civil design records, site instructions, and land surveys- Perform technical analyses of survey and field data for as-built drawings and project handover- Prepare technical reports and documentation to support project progress, compliance, and quality assurance to assure smooth project closeout- Conduct feasibility studies, develop detailed construction specifications, work methodologies, and project schedules- Prepare, manage and administer contract tender packages, subcontracts, and subcontractor selection- Develop and update construction work schedule and budget in coordination with the Project manager to identify potential engineering, design, and construction issues- Collaborate with Clients and the engineering team to prepare and assess cost estimates, perform value engineering, and feasibility studies to determine project requirements and practicality- Regularly monitor cost accruals and support financial forecasting to ensure budget alignment- Build effective relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, and suppliers- Communicate professionally with Clients and their representatives as required- Prepare and execute Project Specific Safety Plan (PSSP), and Project Specific Quality Plan (PSQP)- Know and comply with client requirements, OHS regulations, and other laws and regulations- Maintain QA/QC records and ensure that Project Quality Risk Assessment (PQRA) is conducted for the project upon award of the project contract.
