Litigation Recoveries Paralegal responsible for managing own significant caseload of uninsured loss recoveries on behalf of key insurer clients of the firm. Key Responsibilities: • Run own senior-level caseload of uninsured loss recovery claims – key clients will be allocated to each fee-earner in order to build client relations. • Contribute to business development activities for the department where necessary, include working on client pitches and tenders and attending client meetings where necessary. • Ensure financial targets are met within the department, both on a personal and team level. • Collate and present key metrics for the Recoveries Manager. • Ensure that all recoveries SLAs and procedures are followed for your specific clients. • Produce management information as required by the Head of Insurance Litigation and Chief Executive Officer. • Liaise directly with clients where necessary and be their day-to-day contact. • Continually upskill personal knowledge of the litigation process, become an expert in all matters and share this with the wider team.

I am a dedicated, honest, ambitious and creative individual. A recent law graduate, who has passed LPC with a distinction from the University of Law, Birmingham in July 2021. Currently working as a Litigation Recoveries Paralegal with Flint Bishop Solicitors. Role involves managing own significant caseload of uninsured loss recoveries on behalf of key insurer clients of the firm. Handling files from start to finish, including key elements of the litigation process. Previously worked as a Legal Assistant at MMY Housing, a family business providing supported living across the West Midlands. Supporting Directors on legal issues faced by the business. Additional work experience at Birmingham City Council, pro bono work, administrative experience within a private sector accountancy practise and teaching experience. Having successfully completed my LPC, I am seeking a Training Contract opportunity and ultimately pursue a career as a Solicitor. I believe I possess the potential, commitment, passion, integrity and hard work that will drive me to maintain the same high standard of work throughout my study and into my career beyond.
