Raza is a seasoned executive with recognized history of leading cutting-edge global software & cloud services organizations. This includes consistently developing new enterprise & consumer technologies that are being used by millions of users worldwide. Currently Raza is responsible for engineering of Microsoft\'s security & privacy platform in the Cloud and AI division. This includes building a new high scale, distributed and secure micro-services-based hybrid cloud platform. The platform is designed to anti-malware scan, encrypt, sign and distribute billions of files every month along with managing all high-value cryptographic assets.Previously Raza led the organization responsible for the Office 365 suite. Office 365 is the fastest growing cloud compliant service that includes cloud versions of Exchange, Skype and SharePoint, along with Microsoft Office 2010 desktop applications. In this role Raza was a key member of the leadership team which transformed Office from a packaged software in to an industry leading cloud SaaS offering.Prior to this Raza was General Manager in the Xbox division. Raza led the organization responsible for the road-map, P&L, and operations for the TV (Mediaroom, Xbox, TV Cloud Services) & DRM (Windows Media DRM, PlayReady) products. Raza was also Engineering GM for Windows mobile engineering team, responsible for successful commercialization & engineering of key video streaming OS components.In his spare time, Raza is an entrepreneur and adviser to multiple technology startups. He serves actively in the Product Strategy, Architecture and Go-To-Market areas. His focus is driving start-ups to achieve business outcomes while fostering an environment of innovation and agility.
