   Worked in development of applications involving RESTful and Microservices in the backend written in Golang to process numerous data from various db like Postgres, MongoDB, MySQL. Used Go standard library packages along with the external packages like Gorilla MUX, testify and many others. Also worked extensively on Go Routines and channels. Worked with Structs and Interfaces in Golang for manipulating and looping through different user-defined objects. Used Redis with message broker, utilizing it to perform caching to avoid calls to the database for the task which are in frequent use. Developed new and reusable packages for the common functionalities using Golang. Created CI/CD Pipelines for continuous integration process. Integrated Jenkins to git where the build triggers automatically when we push a PR for CI/CD. Worked on Jira for managing the tasks and improving the individual performance. Used GIT as version control system to keep track of the changes allowing several developers to collaborate. Utilized GoMock to mock client calls for unit testing in Go. Used JSON Web Tokens (JWT) for security and authentication in the application. Developed various test cases using open source Golang framework like ginkgo and testify to ensure proper testing is performed across all corners of application post deployment. Application security is applied at all stages of development and testing. Produced and Consumed Restful Web Services using Postman Rest Client to interact with different applications.
