About Rayyan Azeezuddin
I am a bioprocess engineer with over 3 years of experience in the downstream purification of Insulin. Currently, I am part of the Insulin MSAT team at Biocon Biologics where my primary responsibility is to perform chromatography related experiments. Additionally, I was fortunate to have had significant hands-on experience in other unit operations as part of downstream purification of Insulin such as centrifugation (cell separation), enzyme reactions and crystallization.Not that I wish for it to happen but a part of me lights up every time there is a problem in the manufacturing facility. This stems from my innate curiosity to figure out why things don’t work. Troubleshooting and providing manufacturing support have played the biggest role in my development as a bioprocess engineer and I loved every minute of it.I am hopelessly obsessed with football and cars. When I’m not watching/playing football or catching up on newest specs in the Indian Automobile industry, you’re most likely to find me listening to a podcast or on the look out for the next best biryani place.
