About Ray Schroeder

Ray Schroeder is a nationally respected leader in higher education online learning. He is the Professor Emeritus of Communication at the University of Illinois Springfield (UIS) and a Senior Fellow at UPCEA the Online and Professional Education Association. With a career as faculty and administrator in higher education spanning more than five decades, Ray has been a trailblazer in the integration of Online Learning and, more recently, Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education. He has received numerous awards, including in 2023, an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters and the inaugural UPCEA Leadership Award for the Advancement of Digital Learning.
