The purpose of this unique, intensive gathering of fellows was to discuss how democracy will work in a world where professional journalism is losing capacity and citizens everywhere are gaining in power.The Sense-Making Fellowship\'s goal was to survey the values and influence of the work of the invited fellows towards helping citizens participate in society and influence our democracy.It will reconvene in a year around, culminating in the review of a participant-led collaborative project decided upon by the group.
