ABOUT RAYNA KWO
Rayna Kwo has a keen interest in global finance, business management and data analytics. In the spring of 2020, she graduated with honors from Villanova University, where she co-majored in finance and international business and double minored in Chinese and business law. Prior to graduating, she took on a summer analyst position at JPMorgan Chase & Company, which afforded her a birds-eye view of the inner workings of a large bank while expanding her knowledge of core finance practices. She is also intent on building a strong LinkedIn network with business leaders and investing in professional relationships.Rayna selected Villanova on the merits of its undergraduate business program and quickly declared a finance major. Picking up international business as a co-major, she set her sights on a career path toward financial services. When it came time to decide on an internship, she felt that JPMorgan Chase would provide the best fit and broaden her reach in the financial services industry. While gaining valuable experience, she is learning the value of a strong corporate culture and how a powerhouse brand widens and deepens its footprint.Rayna is known as hard-working, compassionate, approachable, and supportive. Her term as president of the Chi Omega Sorority has driven home the principles of sound leadership and given her confidence in managing difficult conversations. A 2018 internship in Shanghai, China for HR One deepened her appreciation of cultural diversity and helped her engage on a global level. In her global finance and business management analyst program at JPMorgan Chase, Rayna is gaining valuable perspective on the human side of the business and learning how to deliver exceptional client experiences. Given the rotational nature of the program, she has learned how to quickly develop the necessary technical skills to drive change, and ramp-up to a breadth of teams. Through these experiences, it has become clear to Rayna that she values taking an active role in the entire life cycle of analytical work: from the initial stages of data discovery, to creating measurable business goals, and eventually seeing its impact on a client.
