Principal Network Engineer, Data Services Engineering Responsible for the management and implementation of the datacenter infrastructure across the west region. Re-sponsible for engineering and deploying directional networks for Intelligent Edge, including but not limited to: SAP ENSE Fabric, Access ENSE fabric, ISP, NNI and Core connectivity. Engineered networks for interconnection to VCP platforms for growth, capacity, and expansion. Worked with underlay and overlay controllers for network creation, network modeling, and network deployments. Leveraging python, ASPN, and multiple plugins for network deploy-ments across multiple virtualized OS environments. Key Contributions: Lead Engineering effort that enabled Verizon to conduct Layer 1-3 Testing circuit testing without the need for engineering by allowing installation vendors to perform automated testing of circuits. Engineered UPF/SMF builds for initial 5g Rollout. Worked closely with the application team to build, test, and modify the configuration for a successful deployment. Owned technical engineering aspects of multiple segment-routing fabrics deployment initiative across multiple cities. Engineered multiple datacenter migrations from VXLAN fabric over to SR Fabric providing a pathway for increased bandwidth and growth as 5g usage expands.
