ABOUT RAYMOND YU
I am currently a student at Binghamton University studying Psychology and Global Public Health. I\'m hoping to pursue a MPH/MD and eventually going into public policy to create sustainable changes in our healthcare system. I\'m passionate about dispelling health inequities and ensuring quality healthcare access for all- especially for marginalized communities that are typically affected by healthcare disparities. This is deeply personal to me as I am from a low income, immigrant community in Brooklyn, New York that recognizes the real effects that healthcare disparities have on communities. I aspire to combine my passion for public health and medicine by being a healthcare provider that treat and prevent root causes of illnesses by engaging in community-based initiatives, research, and policy advocacy. My other interests are pharmacology, clinical psychology, statistics, social media marketing, and education.
