ABOUT RAYMOND NAZAIRE
My first experience in the field of engineering was with Tasnim Uddin & Associates. In fact Tasnim was my mentor. I worked with him for nearly 13 years until he died. During my tenure as a senior engineer at Tasnim Uddin & Associates ( TUAI), my experience focused around structural engineering. Our main clients were Miami International Airport, Miami Seaport, Miami-Dade Public Scool. Some of the projects I worked on were: Seaport canopies, concourse H, cargo buildings, Norland Elementary School.As an employee of the City of Fort Lauderdale. My engineer experience revolves around the design and construction of seawalls (rubble rock seawall, concrete panels and soldier piles and steel sheet piles seawall).As engineer design aids, I used Enercalc for quick design reference and robot Millenium for in depth structural analysis and design, I used Autocad and Revit for drafting, and Mecawind for wind load analysis and pressures on obstacles.Today is September 24, 2022 and for the last 3 years, I felt that something was missing in my professional profile and I could not put my finger on it until this morning: my father, the late Ing. Gerard Louis Nazaire, structural engineer. Before Tasnim, my dad was a big factor in my wanting to be an engineer and it is probably the same for my younger brother Gerard Nazaire Jr, MS, P.E. During my university days, he involved me in his engineering designs and construction sites. Dad, today you would be proud.
