Manage a team of eleven and report directly to the Head of Group Finance, responsible for regulatory liquidity reporting, treasury accounting, securitisation accounting and hedge accounting within the VM group accounts. • Preparation and timely delivery of VM’s (solo and group) liquidity reporting requirements to external regulators (EBA, PRA or BOE) and internal stakeholders on a regular basis which includes LCR, AMM, NSFR, FSA047/048, Basis Risk, PRA110 reporting and ongoing operation securitisation and Covered Bond obligations • Maintaining VM’s Treasury accounting records for the investments, liquidity and funding portfolio, hedge accounting relationships and minimizing the accounting volatility including timely delivery of relevant elements for VM group accounts, month-end, ALCO and ratings agency reporting • Recruit, build, develop and effectively manage the Treasury Finance team, overseeing the effective planning and prioritisation of deliverables to ensure effective performance • Providing technical support to Treasury on the hedging and risk exposures associated with new products and regulations to ensure transactions are constructed to obtain optimal economic and accounting effect, support and work closely with Group Reporting, External Reporting and External Auditors for the delivery of the year-end and interim accounts • Lead and manage the team through significant change on integration with CYBG and FSMA part VII and encourage and implement continuous improvements with the team which resulted in less manual processes, month-end time improvement and an improved enhanced control environment • Actively participated in various projects and acted as the Finance Lead for the Treasury Management System replacement project with going through a full and extensive request for proposal process. Acted as the Finance Lead for the Libor Discontinuation project and delivered and established new processes to transition away from Libor to new Sonia reference rate
