ABOUT RAYMOND GUTIERREZ

I have found that the majority of employees, as well as employers, want to contribute to, and participate in, safety initiatives. Sometimes it can be difficult for the employer or employee to see common hazards in the workplace while dealing with day-to-day business. As a safety professional, it is my job to assist organizations with workplace evaluations and hazard identification. In addition to identifying hazards, I offer attainable corrective action strategies to mitigate workplace hazards. A big part of what I like about the safety industry is that each day presents new challenges due to the diversity of client needs, which I welcome. The world of safety is relatively large, encompassing a wide variety of codes, standards and best practices. That being said, research is a necessity and something that I enjoy when it comes to occupational safety. Staying current on the ever-changing world of safety is vital to my mission and the ability to provide comprehensive and accurate recommendations. This allows organizations to protect its most important and valuable assets, its employees.
