I am a solutions-oriented Senior Project Engineer focused on meeting and exceeding my clients\' expectations. With over 20 years of experience in key management and technical functions on civil and geotechnical projects during both pre-construction and construction phases, I have been the project manager and engineer responsible for pre-feasibility through detailed design and construction of key civil infrastructure facilities including waste management facilities, water reservoirs, tailings dams, heap leach facilities, roads, diversion channels, and ancillary facilities for overall land development and mining project operation.I have planned and maintained work breakdown schedules, project resources, budgets, and quality while interfacing with clients, sub-contractors, key stakeholders, and project team members. I regularly coordinate and manage work efforts in international offices from initiating and planning through closure stages of projects. My technical involvement with projects has also included the preparation of recommendations and specifications addressing heap leach facilities, waste rock dumps, large volume earthworks and foundation type(s), design criteria, pavement construction, drainage improvements, and tailings deposition planning and analysis. I have been involved with geotechnical analyses and have played a pivotal role in the development of bid documents, capital cost estimates, site material balances, construction drawings and design reports in North and South America, Central and Southern Africa, Australia, and Russia. I am a licensed Professional Engineer in California, Colorado, and Arizona and a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute.
