ABOUT RAYMOND A. ALTIERI

Raymond A. Altieri, Jr, CPPA, is the Founder & Chairman of Altieri Insurance Consultants corporately based in Tampa, Florida. Mr. Altieri was elected President of the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (NAPIA) in 20••••12. NAPIA elected Mr. Altieri to the “Officer’s Ladder” in 2004 where he held every Office during his rise to the Presidency. He is also the first President of the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA) and was a founding, charter member in 1993. Mr. Altieri was re-elected President of FAPIA, his second term, in 2002. For his dedication to the profession, Mr Altieri was honored by FAPIA in 2006 with the Distinguished Service Award and by NAPIA in 2017 as its \"Person of the Year.\" Since NAPIA\'s inception in 1951, Ray is the only public adjuster from Florida to become the association\"s President.Ray has served on FAPIA’s Board of Directors since its inception and has served on NAPIA’s Board of Directors since1991. Mr. Altieri has been heavily involved in Florida State Legislative efforts since 1992 as they relate to the public insurance adjusting profession. He has also been an instructor at FAPIA educational conferences, at NAPIA Conferences, and has been a presenter at the Windstorm Network Conferences, sharing his 40+ years of property claims adjusting experience.Ray began his property-adjusting career in 1980 with Aetna Life and Casualty Insurance Company in Syracuse, New York and worked in Tampa, Florida, as a property adjuster with The Hartford Insurance Company in 1986. He has been a Florida Licensed Public Insurance Adjuster since January 1, 1988.
