Co-Owner and Founder of New York Music Coop (NYMC), NY’s very first music cooperative. New York Music Coop is owned and operated by music teachers who want to bring equitable lessons to our students and community. Our cooperative structure allows NYMC to offer all students the best teachers, resources, and support while providing low-income families with subsidized lessons and workshops.I create tailored guitar and electric bass lessons to 20+ students by using customized educational methods to plan, implement, and evaluate the best targeted curriculum. To date, I have taught in group and classroom environments for over 100 children teaching them how to experiment, improvise, and grasp new concepts. I work with other NYMC teacher to facilitate and direct free workshops for students with limited finances by event planning in coordination with local community members, organizations, and schools.
