I am experienced in building, motivating, and managing large teams, financial reporting and analysis for both startups and large public companies, capital raising, and executing end-to-end operations that make a vision or concept a lived reality.I have been on several Boards and the cause I am most passionate about is education and education-related initiatives. I have the pleasure of currently serving as the Chair of the United for Literacy Foundation, the largest literacy charity in Canada, empowering the lives of others through literacy since 1899.

   Building and scaling a new kind of finance company focused on empowering people to live and age with financial freedom-Created an entirely new product that fits within the regulatory framework for lending in the United States-Scaled to over $200mm in origination within 18 months of launch, with positive unit economics-Built out HR/People, onboarding and maintaining payroll in two countries (with Fraction entities), building out benefits and insurance, OKRs that were set at a department and individual level on a monthly cadence and reviewed weekly, quarterly reviews, compensation benchmarking and adjustments as needed with a built-out compensation philosophy, and ratings each performance as well as setting up objective benchmarks for each role-Implemented NetSuite from QuickBooks and completed the first audit by Deloitte-Achieved 15-day close time for a very complicated product, and full-cycle metrics across both the US and Canada. Maintained financial model as well as a budget and decision framework that was budget-based that was used company-wide-Negotiated and implemented $250mm+ credit facility. This includes the ongoing compliance and reporting requirements associated with a large debt facility-Built out operations for funding US and Canadian mortgages including the build-out of a data warehouse and dashboards via Tableau (real-time monitoring of CAC, LTV, and other funnel metrics).Implemented Modern Treasury and virtual banking for Fraction’s retail clients-Built out servicing business from scratch in both the United States and Canada.
