Hi, I am Rayan. A Visual Designer, Cinematographer, Software Engineer and a Lazy Millennial. Year 2015, which changed my aspect, passion and lifestyle. It was in this year, where I stepped out into the outside world with the help of an organisation called, AIESEC. An international youth run organisation, in 126+ countries, works on creating peace and fulfilment of humankind\'s potential. This organisation was the turning point in my life. Being a creative person, I am more aligned towards designing and cinematography - to create memories that can be frozen for a lifetime. My passion towards cinematography and photography, made me learn designing from scratch and helped me grow. It made me realise that this is what gets me going! Right after my engineering i.e 2017, I wanted to venture into the field of Visual Design but it was extremely difficult. My degree and additional skill set were different, and I had to take up a software job at Tata Consultancy Services. Back then, I was the youngest person from my college to get a job at our campus placement drive.One year down the lane, my work made me realise that sitting in one place and coding non-stop is not my cup of tea. This pushed me to start working on my designing skills once again and take up freelancing for a few clients. After two years of looking for opportunities, I got an offer for the role of Creative Media Head at a startup. But transitioning into a startup from an MNC was not easy. Also, hailing from an orthodox middle class family, I had to convince my parents to let me switch career paths. Right now, I work as a Creative Media Head for ThoughtFolks Media & take care of all the media operations.10+ events and 4+ weddings later I knew I had made the right decision.
