About Rayaan Ahmed
I graduated from George Washington University with a B.A. in Political Science and American Studies. I am committed to using politics as an instrument to further positive change for my community. As an undergraduate, I served as the Director of Advocacy for the Black Student Union, worked in state and federal electoral campaigns and political consulting, and conducted grant-funded research on community-engaged learning and service. Currently, I am an Organizing and Training Associate for Civic Nation, supporting high-impact, long-term initiatives that address enduring social challenges in our communities. I am interested in people-based approaches to electoral and immigration reform, health equity, and voting rights expansion. I am a member of the inaugural cohort of Harvard Law School\'s Future Leaders in Law. I hope to pursue a legal career that works to make democracy accessible to everyone, especially marginalized communities.
