About Ramier Shaik

Ray Shaik has a dream of inspiring young minds to transform from passive technological users to passionate innovators, through techJOYnT™, the gamified hands-on learning centers™ and its joyful learning strategy of delivering STEM education for kids. With his extensive background in engineering, Ray and his team of highly qualified STEM instructors and advocates have designed the company’s proprietary GEAR (Game Design, Electronics, App Development, and Robotics) learning pathway, which provides young tinkerers (kids ages 6 – 14) that emphasize socially connected learning through sophisticated, hands-on projects while increasing comprehension of academic concepts as kids joyfully create, tinker, and learn with the help of mentorship from STEM professionals. By designing innovative delivery services, the GEAR curricula can be taught anywhere, from techJOYnT™ learning centers, community events, and pro services, including its proprietary STEM Mobile Labs—bringing the engineer and classroom tools directly to the community! Though techJOYnT™ is a profitable business, Ray does not allow any child to be left behind, offering free or discounted programs to institutions that would not have the opportunity to invest in further STEM education otherwise. Ray also formed techJOYnT™ Education Foundation, previously known as Oklahoma Stem Foundation, which offers free, engaging STEM opportunities and events to children, including STEM Safaris, NASA Space Apps Makersfests, and Game Design Summits. As techJOYnT™ expands into a national franchise, he plans to make techJOYnT™ Education Foundation into a national, and then global, foundation. It all started within a library, with Ray using his own finances to provide a high-end robotics workshop to an underserved community and his children designing a weekly meetup program to provide joyful STEM learning to the community.and now inspires to change the future and close the gap of STEM learning opportunities, one child at a time.

Founded techJOYnT™ to bring joy into the learning process of STEM education to K-8 students, empowering the next generation to transform from passive users to passionate innovators. Through our proprietary GEAR (Game Design, Electronics, App Development, and Robotics) learning platform that blends instruction with high-end, hands-on projects and inquiry-based learning within a gamified, mentorship and socially connected workshop environment, techJOYnT™ seeks to revolutionize the K12 education system through engaging, applicable STEM learning while joyfully learning and retaining 21st-century skills that will prepare children for their future careers. Affordable access to in-depth STEM learning opportunities for all communities is the mission of techJOYnT™. We offer STEM Mobile Labs as well as learning center classes, workshops, camps, field trips, and in-school and after-school programs. techJOYnT also offers pro services to the community, including providing education consultancy, workshops, and individualized education reports and assessments for parents and educators of learning tinkerers, developing customizable learning management systems (LMS) for institutions, and designing individualized road maps to create social impact for corporations. We also formed a nonprofit foundation, previously known as Oklahoma STEM Foundation, the foundation has expanded to serve a wider geographic scope as techJOYnT™ Education Foundation, utilizing lessons learned from our time serving Oklahoma to provide low-income and underserved schools and communities across the country, and one day across the globe, with equal opportunities to high-quality, in-depth STEM education and events.
