As I contemplated what career path to take next, I realized it didn’t necessarily matter what industry I went to. No matter what my \"job\" or position has been, I have always had the ability to see potential synergies, the possibilities they create, and put \"the wheels in motion.\" What I love is creating mutually beneficial relationships, and I do it well. It doesn\'t matter if it’s with people, products, or companies, I get the most “juice” from utilizing my own beliefs and relationships to help others. With over 30 years of experience in printing and prepress, I\'ve handled projects ranging from small local companies to nationwide campaigns across industries like pharmaceuticals and food. In the printed circular world, I have done every step of the process: theme development and design direction, gathering assets to build ads, communicating with clients, internal teams as well as external designers, providing prepress and print knowledge to our design team, onboarding printers, negotiating costs and pricing to clients, developing distribution plans together with our distribution partners, etc. straight through to billing and collecting payments.In my last role, I led efforts to build strong partnerships with manufacturers and distributors, guiding them to adopt new tools for managing product information and expanding their market reach online. I took the company from getting reliable product data from 4 manufacturers to over 70 and built relationships along the way which led to additional opportunities. Although I am disappointed that I never got to see some of these opportunities through as I was bought out prior to meetings I had scheduled to discuss things further, I enjoyed the process and did all I could up to my last day.Reflecting on my journey, I\'ve learned that genuine connections are the foundation of my personal and professional successes. Simply engaging in conversations, listening, and \"matching\" is what comes naturally to me. Sure, I \"sell\" things along the way, but the sale has always been a byproduct of relationships built on trust and understanding not only my goals but also those of others. Whether we fully understood those goals or, better yet, experience the excitement of expanding on them together, good things came from it.    As a tribute to my late son, I re-established his old brand, Weymer Enterprise. I wasn\'t sure what direction the brand would take at the time. There were several possibilities in the print and branding space which I started to develop.
