ABOUT RAY FRANCIS
My IT skills are very broad: I have a good understanding of PC software and hardware set-up and configuration, good problem solving skills along with the ability to remain calm under pressure. I also have experience of setting up client/server networks, which I applied during my degree. In addition, I have knowledge and a very good understanding of Windows, VMware, IP addressing, subnetting, configuration of routers, configuration of switches, 802.1x Authentication, Authorization & Accounting, VLANs, OSPF and RIPv2 protocals and OSI & TCP/IP models.During my second year at Sheffield Hallam University I obtained Cisco CCNA Exploration: Network Fundamentals and CCNA Exploration: Routing Protocols and Concepts certificates. In every role I have undertaken, I have found it important to maintain a positive attitude, an energetic approach and to be self-motivated. These qualities I believe are essential to be successful in my career.From July 2013 to July 2014 I had a placement as a IT Support Analyst at Avis Budget Group EMEA in Bracknell and worked as a IT Field Engineer for them at their rental station at Manchester Airport. I now work for TCS as a IT Field Engineer at Avis head office in Bracknell.
