Essential Duties and Responsibilities: •Responsible for the leadership, direction and management of implementing and auditing Division quality programs including, but not limited to: GMP’s, HACCP, weight control, sanitation compliance, Regulatory, Food Safety, GFSI, and customer specifications. •Ensures Division compliance with regulatory requirements related to product safety and quality. •Ultimate responsibility for Division laboratories. Working with plant and quality control management, determines proper staffing, training and performance of QC personnel. •Provides Company leadership with regular and complete reports on all matters pertaining to quality issues and standards. •Maintains professional working relationships with Corporate and plant management, customers and vendors. •Must exercise continuous leadership and improvement to focus Division quality control efforts on priorities while ensuring attention towards safety, environmental and health concerns. •Must exercise continuous leadership to ensure strict adherence to Corporation and plant policies, rules and regulatory compliance and well as carrying out the Company’s Quality Policy. •Maintain, sustain, and develop customer relationships, respond to increasing expectations, and continually develop internal and external specification systems and coordinate with product management, Sales, and technical.
