Ray Deutsch is a graduate of the Ithaca College Roy H. Park School of Communications, Television and Digital Media Production Bachelor of Science. A Tribeca Film Institute Alumnus and Twilight Zone Rod Serling Scholar for Excellence in Screenwriting. Her portfolio includes pilot and feature works in progress under her banner “hypochondriac productions” which have garnered interest from NBCUniversal. Her journey has led here from a life-long passion for authentic storytelling, love for captivating media… and knack for always having a notebook on hand.In the Park School, Ray concentrated on Producing and Entertainment Law. Bringing together crews and successfully producing several short films and television series. A Leadership Scholar cohort alum celebrating four years of community leadership and academic achievement in Ithaca, New York-highlighting: executive leadership of Ithaca College Television (ICTV) and advocacy work with Planned Parenthood Generation Action. Dual minor studies in Gender and Screenwriting inform her filmmaking and artistic voice. While in Los Angeles, she worked in development focused on book-to-film adaptation while simultaneously freelancing on short film productions for the American Film Institute, and writing the unauthorized satirical spec feature screenplay,\"The Untitled Aubrey Plaza Devil Project\".Ray has experience as an Office Production Assistant in New York. Working on cable television (Couple’s Therapy Season 2 on Showtime) and independent feature film (Babes, Mega Moo Inc, FilmNation). Her recent roles in entertainment have centered on global distribution and rights management. This includes consulting on AMC+ brand contract cataloging and project databases for Shudder and IFC films and TV series. Since 2023 at Visit Films, she has specialized in sales and marketing for independently produced and auteur-driven feature films. Ray\'s role includes providing administrative support for sales, leading email marketing campaigns, conducting extensive market research, and liaising with PR, acquisitions, and press, with significant exposure to international festivals and markets.
