Serve as senior department head over planning, building inspections, code enforcement, transportation planning, location services, and community transit for the fifth largest county in NC (pop. Manage a staff of 53 FTE\'s with an operating budget of $3.5 million. Serve as support staff and coordinate all activities of the Joint County Planning Board; serving the unincorporated areas of the County and providing coordinated land use and planning services for eight of the County\'s municipalities. Manage and coordinate activities of the Fayetteville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (FAMPO); including planning, grants management, and administration. Coordinate Federal land use planning initiatives with Fort Bragg, which is located in Cumberland County and considered one of the largest military installations in the country.
