My latest research involved establishing and validating robust functional biochemical and biophysical assays for testing small molecule libraries (hit identification), identifying complex molecular structures using X-ray crystallography, and elucidating the structure-activity relationships.During my work, I gained experience in recombinant protein expression in bacterial systems, purification using various chromatographic techniques (IMAC, SEC, IEX), and characterization using analytical methods like (SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, MS, HPLC) to ensure protein quality and purity necessary for downstream applications. Beyond research, I have experience mentoring and training undergraduates, interns, and master\'s students, fostering a collaborative and successful research environment. I am open to networking and collaborating with other professionals and organizations in this field.
