About Rawad Obeid
I am a pediatric neurologist with a focus on the neonatal brain. My main clinical interest is in protecting the brain of newborns from birth related injuries. This includes hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, post hemorrhagic hydrocephalus, and congenital and inherited brain diseases. We achieve our protection goals through close monitoring and the development of treatment protocols. I am involved in many research projects on the neonatal brain. The long term goal is Cerebral Palsy prevention.
