I am an AI ethicist by trade and a philosopher by training. I help people and organizations use AI thoughtfully and ethically to do meaningful work, rejecting hype and fear-mongering. My work encompasses AI adoption training, AI ethics advising, building no-code AI tools, and academic research on how to make AI ethics stick-> As a socially-oriented technologist. I build no-code AI tools to create the world I want to see, and I seek out people and companies who want to do the same-> As an AI ethicist. I\'ve worked with tech companies, investors, and local governments on responsible AI development, adoption, investment, and procurement-> As a philosopher, I got my PhD from UC Berkeley, specializing in philosophy of machine learning, philosophy of science, and philosophy of knowledge. I\'ve taught hundreds of people to think critically about worldviews and form their own-> As a researcher, I conduct empirical research on making AI ethics stick, collaborating with social scientists and computer scientists at places like Carnegie Mellon University.
