About Ravi Sharma
MBA in Finance from SIBM-Bengaluru. Currently working as Associate at HSBC in their Global Banking Large Corporates Credit Analysis Unit. My role involves assessment of credit worthiness of large corporate clients through diligent qualitative and quantitative analysis. Under qualitative aspects a company is analysed based on its revenue drivers, cost structure, business strategy, industry outlook, risks & mitigants, peer analysis etc, while through quantitative perspective, company\'s standing with respect to various financial ratios, covenants, and various other related parameters are judged.This role provided with the opportunity to gain hands on experience in valuing a company by using DCF method through financial modelling of future cash flows.I primarily cater to a portfolio of chemical sector companies in US market and have had exposure to various leverage funding acquisition deals. Prior to MBA, I worked with Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd.(Benagluru) for close to 4 years as a Senior Software Engineer where I was responsible for end to end Product Development and Management. Graduated from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dhanbad where I completed B. Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
