As a Moderator for exchange4media\'s \"The Great Debate Series,\" I had the privilege of leading discussions on the crucial topic of PR education in today\'s rapidly evolving landscape. The focus was on how PR programs can adapt to the increasing influence of artificial intelligence (AI) and ensure that students are equipped with the skills needed to succeed in the modern PR industry.The debates brought together industry leaders and academic experts who shared their insights on the current state of PR education. We explored whether existing programs are effectively preparing students for the job market and whether they are adequately addressing the challenges posed by AI. The discussions were thought-provoking and highlighted the need for a more holistic approach to PR education that incorporates AI literacy and critical thinking.By engaging with both industry and academia, we were able to identify key areas for improvement and explore innovative solutions to ensure that PR education remains relevant and effective in the age of AI.
