With more than 16 years of service in the field of Nuclear, Defence, Power, Oil & Gas, Refinery and Construction Equipments and taking up various responsibilities ranging from core team members of technical areas such as Welding engineering, Quality and Production to my present role of Chief Operating Officer has bestowed me great opportunities to explore these functions in-depth and gain immense know-how on execution of all the major operations needed to run a manufacturing set-up efficienctly. My expertise: Leading a medium to large scale fabrication unit, Reviewing the feasibility study, commercial analysis, material & production planning and other related operations of a plant. Carry out business discussions with clients and stake holders. Overall lead for Welding & Quality functions such as review of PQR/WPS/WPQ according to different fabrication Codes, in materials such as P1,P4,P5A,P8 & P15E, and Incoloy 800, 800H, AB2 (quenched & tempered) and various other Nuclear grade materials. Preparation of QAP, ITP, NDT procedures, Quality manuals etc. Knowledge about the fabrication of Nuclear industry based components such as Calandria, Heat exchangers etc, Aerospace assembly parts like booster shells, missile cones etc. Defence related equipment including armoured vehicle welding, loading platforms etc. Power & Process Piping,Tubing and other Boiler Pressure Parts etc. Hands on expertise of different types of welding as GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, MIG, SAW, ORBITAL TIG, Brazing, Resistance welding etc. Core expertise in EN 15085, EN ISO 3834-2 and EN 1090 certifications. Responsible Welding Coordinator (RWC) and Welding consultant.
