My research activity is mainly focused on analytical chemistry with special emphasis on analytical method optimization, development, and validation for multi as well as single residue analysis for different food contaminants. Efficiently working on advancements in food contaminant analysis using different chromatographic and mass spectrometric techniques. I am also working as an instructor for different training courses such as the development and validation analytical methods for contaminants using chromatographic techniques. Being a part of APDEDA-NRL. I also visited many food testing laboratories for pesticide residue analysis for assessment. I have worked on multiple projects (National as well as International) and published many peer-reviewed research articles in various high-impact international journals. I am an active member for various professional bodies reviewer of various Journals, advisory board members, guest lecturer and also a Editorial board member for e-Newsletter. Considering my research and contribution to the society, I received many national and international awards & recognitions.Area of specialization: • Residue analysis method development & validation for food & environmental contaminants. • Risk assessment studies for safety evaluation of agrochemical residues.• Advanced chromatography and mass spectrometry based single and multiresidue analysis method development and validation for the monitoring and risk assessment of the residues of agrochemicals.• Comprehensive screening of target & non-target contaminants by GC-MS and LC-MS.• Persistence, dissipation, metabolism and safety evaluation of agrochemicals in plant and environment. • Decontamination and bioremediation of agrochemical residues.• Development and validation of analytical methods as per the international regulatory guidelines. • Well experienced in Delivering hands-on trainings as well to be a tutor in various training programs. • Efficient method development for challenging to analysis compounds. • Intra- and inter-laboratory validation as per AOAC-SMPR and SANTE guidelines. • Efficiently utilised chromatographic tools in analysis of highly polar and unstable compounds. • Developed extraction methods for pesticide residue in various food matrices. • Hands on expertise in different chromatographic (HPLC and GC) and mass spectrometric techniques (Triple Quadrupole, Q-ToF-MS, Orbitrap-MS). • Experience in ISO/IEC 17025:2005, 2017. • Contributes in organising proficiency test rounds of pesticide residue and aflatoxins as per ISO/IEC 17043:2010.
