With over three decades of professional experience, I currently lead IT operations as the Data Centre Head at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, managing the infrastructure and operations for the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the world’s third-largest stock exchange by market capitalization. I am committed to ensuring operational excellence, implementing best practices, and driving seamless IT infrastructure availability for critical business processes.    In my current role as Program Head, I have been heading the complete Data center Operation of the Bombay Stock Exchange since May’24. Bombay Stock Exchange is World’s 3rd biggest stock exchanges with market cap of approx.$4 Trillions. I am heading their complete IT Operations. We have implemented the best of processes for monitoring their Infrastructures and making sure that their IT infrastructure is always available for their Business. I am heading a 60 people’s team at BSE who are highly skilled in their technical field. In my earlier role as Data Centre Head in HPE, I was heading the complete Data center Operation of the UIDAI Data center. UIDAI is parent body for providing the AADHAR Identification to all the Citizens of India. With a complete database size of 30 PB with servers for managing their various applications. UIDAI have taken the services of HPE for moving them to Private Cloud with all their applications getting hosted in their own private Cloud. This contract’s value is approx. 2700 Crores over the period of 7 years. Right now, this cloud is India’s biggest private cloud. We have built the private cloud for UIDAI from scratch using bare Metal, MaaS, Juju, K8, Openstack, CICD pipelines with Ceph as Backend Storage. I am heading a team of around 100 resources from Cloud, Server, Storage, Network, Perimeter Security, Vulnerability Assessment, Admin Team.Job Responsibility: Complete Data Centre Operations Cloud Provisioning of Bare metals and configurations Resource Planning and Management Stringent SLA Management like availability of VMs, Cluster availability, time for provisioning of VMs, N or N-1 version maintenance of all installed software’s, Backup SLAs, Storage performance SLAs etc BCP Services Vulnerability Assessment and fixing the VAs. Server Management of different Makes like HPE, Dell and IBM Redhat Virtualizations Storage management Like VMAX from EMC, 3PAR and Nimble from HPE, Ceph from Canonical.
