As the Senior Director and Group Head of Asset Protection and Security at Flipkart Group in India, I am at the helm of delivering end-to-end security solutions for the nation\'s largest online retailer. Leading a large team dispersed nationwide, my focus is on fortifying Flipkart\'s position as a trusted E-Commerce and Quick Commerce leader, ensuring the safety of assets and creating a secure environment for customers, sellers, employees and partners. Implementing strategic measures concerning Business Continuity and Resilience, Loss Prevention and Investigations, Fraud Prevention and Control and Security Incident Management, we contribute to the seamless and secure shopping experience for millions of e-Flipkart customers across the country.As the AVP and National Head of Security and Loss Prevention at Reliance Digital Retail Ltd (RDRL), I drove Security and Loss Prevention for the largest Consumer Durables and IT Retail Chain in India. With a focus on risk-based solutions customized for retail stores, supply chain and online operations, I consistently exceeded expectations to meet demanding business needs.In my previous role as GM & Lead Security and Loss Prevention Operations in the Consumer Supply Chain of Reliance Retail, I managed security and loss prevention for an integrated nationwide Warehousing and Transportation network. With my focus on governance, shrinkage control, analytics, incident management, investigations, training, and budgetary control, I ensured seamless operations across a nationwide omni-chanel supply chain network.Before transitioning to the corporate sector, I proudly served in the Indian Army for over 22 years. During my various tenures, I led successful counter-terrorist operations, commanded troops in challenging terrains like Line of Control, Siachen, Kargil, South Sudan (UN Peacekeeping) and Rann of Kutch, held key leadership positions at prestigious military training institutions and undertook opex procurement for entire Indian Army. As a certified Leadership Coach, I bring a unique blend of military and corporate leadership to my work. Beyond my professional life, I enjoy off-road motorcycling, listening to soulful Sufi music and actively participating in local community service initiatives.
