Hedge Accounting - Analytical review of the hedging treatment posted by sites for hedge transactions to ensure that correct numbers are reported in Profit & Loss A/c and Balance Sheet in accordance with IAS 39. → Preparing the Quarterly Management Information Pack to GBM – CEO for sign off of quarterly Hedging results.→ Preparing Schedules and Disclosures related to Hedge Accounting for Notes to Accounts.→ Analytical Review & Analysis (AR & A) of the monthly and quarterly movements of Cash Flow & Fair Value hedging.→ Preparation and submission of the Top Down review report with commentary to senior business partners of Global Banking & Markets.→ Analysing the Net Interest Income (NII) and Net Trading Income (NTI) in correlation to Interest Rates and Swap movement.→ Propose the consolidation adjustment for Inter Company hedge accounting relationship.→ Group Own Debt Review - Monitor & analyse inter company Own Debt and also calculate the consolidation adjustment entry quarterly to be passed at Group level to eliminate the intercompany balances.Managing Month End Accounting - Responsible for managing a team size of 20 members to support the month end accounting and reconciliation. Accounting for the following :→ UK Financial Control – To support the month end activities, processing JE’s for Allocations, Provisions & Accruals, Prepayment, Recharges and Other cost transfers etc,→ Red Inking – Red inking of customer accounts for receivables and payables.→ IAS 38 – Capitalisation & Amortisation of Software Club and Non-Software Club for GBM business→ Analyse and report the monthly movements of Fair Value, Day 1 P&L and Special Purpose Vehicle→ Audit Tracking - To keep track of all the external and internal Audits for all the CIBM sites across the globe and submit a report with charts and graph to the Chief Financial & Risk Officer (CF & RO).
