I’m an aquaculture professional with over 21 years of experience working across India, Southeast Asia, and Africa. I hold a Master’s in Fisheries Science and an MBA, and I’ve focused most of my career on shrimp farming, sustainable aquaculture, and improving farmer livelihoods. Currently, I’m the Vice President – Sales and Technical at Growel Feeds, where I work on feed innovation, farmer training, and on-ground technical support. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work with organizations like the WorldFish Center, FAO, and NACA (HQ: Bangkok, Thailand, Project Work: Aceh, Indonesia) leading projects that promoted Better Management Practices (BMP), managed large-scale shrimp farms, and helped build strong cooperative models aligned with Fair Trade and WWF standards.
