About Nishanth Ravindaran
At heart, Nishanth is a media and entertainment professional with experience in all sorts of Media - Film, TV, OTT and Digital. His parents are very proud of his many accomplishments, which include directing and producing campaigns for iconic brands like Hyundai, GSK, Oman Film Society, Standard Chartered and Cairn India amongst others. They also act impressed that he directed the independent Tamil dark comedy Feature Film “Odu Raja Odu” which opened theatrically in Chennai and was acquired by Netflix. Nishanth is going to depart from conventions and move this round-up to the first person. I’m fascinated by the stories that make us human and discovering the secret ingredient in those humane stories. I love experimenting with different art forms, making sense of the world and using storytelling to share what connects us. My Superpowers include research, scripting, content creation, production for media, TV, social media & OTT, budgeting, post-production, crew & staff management, problem resolution and time management. I could go on and market myself about awards I’ve won, such as Outstanding Tamil Feature Film at the Asiavision Movie Awards 2019, but honestly, it feels really weird in the first person. Starting to reconsider that decision. There’s a lot of work ahead. Per aspera ad astra.
