   Managing teams with exceptional engineers building products in control plane of Azure Core Compute. I have built mutliple brand new products from scratch and grew usage to 10M+ VMs with adoption of whale customers of Azure on them. Virtual Machine Scale Sets (VMSS) 1. Built control plane for at-scale management of IaaS VMs for higher app availability. Availability of millions of customer IaaS VMs is achieved by healing VMs with absolute minimal latency (seconds) when app and VM turn unhealthy at runtime (be it due to platform fault, hardware fault, or customer app fault). 100s of thousands of IaaS VMs are healed daily to bring them back up healthy 2. Automated image (extension) patching on VMs to keep them secure and compliant on the face of critical security vulnerabilities. Patented safe image patching mechanisms through rolling upgrades, app health assessment, and automated rollbacks causing minimal or none impact on running apps 3. Rebalancing IaaS VMs in scale unit at runtime to provide availability guarantees, i.e. equal distribution of VMs across AZs, moving VMs from unhealthy AZ to healthy AZ with sufficient capacity. This helps to optimize Azure infra capacity as well Managing containers at scale - working on brand new mainstream product in Azure core that offers elastic at-scale solution with high availability and full lifecycle management of containers in Azure. Building ground up infra for this Azure Resource Provider, control plane APIs, and at scale orchestration capabilities. Built highly available, highly scalable, fault tolerant distributed systems serving the control plane of Azure core compute. Services achieve throughput of 50M+ Cx requests/10 mins, and 70M+ platform internal requests/10 mins.
