   As the Director of Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Houston City College (HCC), I not only lead the development and implementation of programs that promote innovation and entrepreneurship across district but I am also an active member of the national higher education entrepreneurial community. I attend and share at regional and national conferences, transferring my expertise and learning from others to stay current on best practices and new trends in the field.I am part of HCC\'s Entrepreneurial Initiatives Office, which has received numerous national recognitions for our collective work. Our team\'s dedication and hard work have earned us recognition from organizations like the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE), Bellwether College Consortium, league, HBJ, & more.As a innovation and entrepreneurship leader, I am passionate about promoting entrepreneurial spirit and creating an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and entrepreneurship. I work tirelessly to ensure that HCC students have access to the resources, tools, and mentorship they need to achieve their goals and succeed in their chosen fields.As part of my work, I manage a team of student work-study and community volunteer teams and work closely with faculty and staff to ensure that our programs align with HCC\'s mission and values. I am responsible for securing funding sources to support program development and operations, and I work diligently to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. I also prepare and present reports on program performance and outcomes to senior leadership, faculty, and staff.As an advisor to the district\'s FBLA-PBL and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Student Club, AI and Robotics Innovation club. I support student-led initiatives and help students to develop leadership and entrepreneurship skills. I work with these groups to create events and programs that help community network, learn, and grow.
