Sr. Vice President and Head of M&A and Corporate Development globally for Dr. Reddy’s. I play a key role in formulating the inorganic growth strategy for the company across its businesses. I also lead acquisitions, large ticket business development/ in-licensing transactions, divestitures of no-core assets/ businesses and special projects. Some of the transactions successfully closed include the acquisition of product portfolio from Teva for USD 350 million (the largest US acquisition for the company), acquisition of leading OTC brands from Ducere Pharmaceuticals, in-licensing of a novel pipeline product from Xenoport and in-licensing of a novel pipeline product from Hatchtech, among others.
