About Ravi Srinivasan
I am a Supply Chain researcher with current interests in exploring how firms can leverage their supply chains to innovate, manage risks and recover from disruptions. I have an ongoing interest in examining how firms can leverage IT to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.I teach core Operations Management and elective Global Supply Chain management classes in both the undergraduate and MBA program. I am also interested in learning how education helps students start their careers and improve their lifetime learning and earning opportunities.Prior to pursuing my PhD, I had 9+ years of consulting experience, focused on implementing Supply chain related IT and processes in Auto, Industrial, High Tech and Consumer Goods firms. I have been part of projects that implemented Demand Management, Replenishment planning, Supply chain planning and Master Data Management solutions and processes. I have also managed multi-country teams based in the US and India.
