About Ravi Kumar Mainali
I have been working as a Business Process Improvement Manager at Hensley Industries, a division of Komatsu Ltd, since March 2022. In this role, I report to the Executive Vice President and lead the improvement of the value chain from sourcing, storage, manufacturing to sales and distribution for the Ground Engagement Tools (GET) and Buckets Manufacturing business. With over 30 years of experience in various functions of manufacturing industries, from heavy fabrication and machining to FMCG, I am a mechanical engineer with a passion for improving business processes, enhancing resource efficiency, and promoting sustainable energy. I am a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certified professional, with proven expertise in applying data-driven methodologies and tools to identify and eliminate waste, reduce variation, and increase customer satisfaction. I am also a certified Energy Auditor and a ToT-Master Trainer for TEVT, with a background in conducting energy audits, facilitating training, and developing curriculum for various process industries and government agencies. Additionally, I am pursuing a MS in Engineering Management- Energy at the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas, where I am expanding my knowledge and skills in alternative and sustainable energy solutions. My mission is to leverage my engineering, management, and technical skills to drive value chain optimization, resource conservation, and environmental protection at Hensley Industries and beyond.
