I grew up in a small town in Haryana, where my passion for sitting on the ‘galla’ inspired me to launch GallaDigital—a startup focused on empowering small businesses with technology.After earning my Engineering degree from YMCAIE, Faridabad, I built a career as a process designer and data analyst. My passion for optimizing processes and analyzing data shaped my professional journey. Despite my corporate career, I stayed deeply connected to my roots and childhood friends, many of whom are small shopkeepers.During my visits to their shops, I observed common challenges they faced:• Limited comfort with computers• Reluctance to adopt new technologies• Struggles with manual inventory managementThese issues made running their businesses unnecessarily complicated. Despite rapid technological advancements, there was no simple, user-friendly solution tailored to their needs.That’s when I decided to act. My passion for technology and understanding of small businesses led to the creation of GallaDigital—a platform leveraging AI, computer vision, and QR codes to help shopkeepers easily manage inventory and streamline their ordering process.At GallaDigital, our mission is simple:• Make technology accessible to every shop, no matter how small.• Simplify inventory management, allowing shopkeepers to focus on growth.I believe that with the right mindset and perseverance, we can build solutions that transform lives.
