Served as Principal Legal Adviser to senior defense officials and go-to adviser on defense-related activities at largest Embassy in the Western Hemisphere. Relied upon for advice in all practice areas, including international law, regulatory compliance, standards of conduct, administrative law, criminal and administrative investigations, and fiscal law. In coordination with Departments of State and Justice, advised senior Government of Colombia officials on rule of law initiatives, to include reforming their military justice system and developing an operational law framework. Coordination resulted in significant increase in quantity and quality of training events launched to benefit Colombian Military and Ministry of Defense Legal and Investigative personnel. Chief legal adviser to Commander and Staff of 3,500 person organization on rule of law matters across five provinces near the Afghanistan- Pakistan border from July 2013- March 2014. Spearheaded Inter-agency and International coordination Meetings on Rule of Law Projects with Partners from across the US Government Inter-agency and The United Nations, as well as Afghan Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
