I am tasked with building the scientific foundations of Script Biosciences, a gene editing company with an exciting and unique platform technology, CasPlus, to elicit desired genetic changes with minimal off-target effects. As we push our lead program for Duchenne\'s muscular dystrophy (DMD) towards the clinic, we continue to build our pipeline by applying CasPlus to gene targets representing unmet medical needs. We are also evolving CasPlus to not only refine and improve it, but also make it more widely applicable.
