Job Responsibilities:Administering entire project development activities for Solar and Thermal Power Projects.Working on project development with focus on following projects:2X660 MW Thermal Power Project, Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh4X660 MW Thermal Power Project, Rewa, Madhya Pradesh2X150 MW Thermal Power Project, Zambia15 MW PV Solar Power Project in Rajasthan Project Development of Renewable and Non Renewable power projects.Bid and Cost evaluation and techno commercial feasibility of solar power projects (PV).Regular review and study of policies and guidelines related to Solar and Thermal Projects.Obtaining Project related clearances from MoEF, MoC, CEA, local authorities etc.Administering entire project operations viz, preparation of PFRs, DPRs & other reports, project tracking, resource allocation, Project Identification, Site Selection & Suitability, MoEF Clearance, Coal Allocation, Water Availability, Airport Authority Clearance, PPA Signing and Project Schedule etc. Calculations for the amount of coal, water & other resources required during power generation considering various factors like specific fuel consumption, amount of ash & sulphur present in coal, GCV of the coal, amount of water required, amount of volatile matter present in the coal etcConceptualizing project execution plans after discussion with clients, gathering requirement and preparing functional requirement & specifications. Coordinating with local authorities, land purchase and SAP implementation.Interacting with client for requirement gathering, scope enhancement, system study & analysis. Liaison with Government departments at Centre & State level for expediting permissions / clearances.Studying & analyzing plant coordinates and other things using Google Earth.Noteworthy Contributions:Actively worked with the technical team which obtained MoEF ToR (Term of Reference) for the 2x660MW Power project.
