Lead the Grants Management team for a philanthropic intermediary with a multi-million dollar annual grantmaking portfolio. Manage and develop four Grants Associates/Senior Grants Associates, providing oversight across all stages of the grants lifecycle.Develop the annual grantmaking calendar across six program portfolios and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders in Operations, Finance, Programs, Development, and Communications to align grantmaking processes with organizational goals. Partner with the Director of Finance, VPs of Programs, and the CEO to secure grant approvals, and prepare quarterly reports for the Board of Directors. Oversee grants compliance and risk assessment, conducting formal reviews of all outgoing grants to ensure legal/IRS and internal compliance, and advising on complex grant structures. Develop and implement core policies and due diligence standards to strengthen organizational risk mitigation.
